Really love this place, food was gorgeous. I do think they are a bit understaffed, the poor lad manning the counter never stopped, they could probably do with another member of staff to help serving and assist in the kitchen as the food took a while to come and we noticed some tables didnt have dips and plates removed as the poor lad was here there and everywhere with how busy it was.

Came here for a lunch and coffee catch up and it was brilliant. We had attentive and friendly service, the food was delicious and Rations offers generous portion sizes. We stopped off at the counter downstairs to pay and also bought local honey and fresh baked sweet treats to take home. I've just devoured my piece of lemon and blueberry drizzle cake and I'm sad I didn't buy more piece. I'll definitely return, Rations Village Store and Kitchen is a lovely spot!

Nice bread for the toast, poached eggs and bacon with avocado smash. Really tasty with a hint of chilly for seasoning, it made a refreshing change from white/black pepper.

Beautiful food, lovely atmosphere and such a welcoming and friendly team. I can’t believe we haven’t been before when we live in the village! Can’t wait to come again with Alfie (our doggy with no teeth and a stuck out tongue!) x
